The game is played with 3 to 5 players, with one of them acting as the "Game Master" and the remaining acting as the "Gardeners. The Gardeners must work together to survive 28 in-game days (or less, depending on the Game Master's wishes) growing their plants, fighting off hordes of common garden pests, and even battling weather itself.

The project was designed to be fully printable in a multitude of materials, to better allow for accessibility and a flexible price range. The game includes 106 Cards, 12 Tiles (6 of which function as the board, and 6 of which can be bought in the in-game store), 1 Zine with the rules, and 1 Calendar to track the events of the game.
